Waymark Walks (tourz.top) publishes walking routes and sensory scripts. This page explains what happens to information when you read it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Information we collect

There is no account to create and no form on this site that collects personal information. Nothing on a route page transmits data anywhere: the pages are static files, and the elevation profiles are drawn before publication rather than computed in your browser.

If you email us at [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you write. We keep it only as long as needed to answer you, and we do not add it to a mailing list.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Third parties described below may set cookies in your browser when they serve advertising or measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; every route page and script continues to work with cookies disabled.

Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

We intend to display advertising served by Google and its partners. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

Analytics

This site runs no analytics of its own: there is no measurement script on any page, and nothing is counted or reported anywhere. If measurement is ever added, it will be aggregate only (page views, referrers, approximate country), it will not be used to identify individuals, and this page will be updated before the script is deployed. Where a jurisdiction requires consent for analytics cookies, none would be set until you agree.

Links to other sites

Route pages link only to other pages on this site. If an external link is ever added, it will be marked as such and this section will be updated first. We do not control third-party sites and their privacy practices are their own.

Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Children

This site is written for adults planning and walking routes and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described in the revised text rather than made silently.
